Ross Brown

While Ross may seem like a typical college student, he has overcome obstacles that most of us could never fathom. Both Ross' parents are incarcerated in state prison and his older sister was murdered at a very young age. Ross has been in "the system" or in foster care for most of his life and as of now, he does not have any family to support him in his quest for higher education. In his own words, "I've done this 100% on my own...I've had no guidance what-so-ever."

With perseverence and commitment Ross successfully graduated from New Jersey City University with a degree in Economics. This fall he will be entering Seton Hall Law School to pursue his Juris Doctorate. His long term goal is to enter into politics.
