Rose Brockstedt
Raymond, NH.

Rose is a bright young woman with a huge heart. Her dream, driven by her desire to reach beyond herself is to bring the hope of a "new life" to other orphans who have not had the advantage of growing up with a strong foundation. Working as a missionary, she hopes to impart a sense of purpose and of belonging to the world around them.
At the young age of six, Rose was orphaned when her mother was incarcerated. She never knew her father and with no other family members to support her, Rose was moved into foster care. Over the next 12 years, Rose, already separated from her 5 siblings, was moved from foster home to foster home as a result of emotional, sexual, and physical abuse. At age 18 Rose aged-out of the system and went to college. During that time she moved to a residential home for women where she became very focused on her path in life and chose to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion.

Today Rose attends Liberty University and after graduation plans to make a career in the area of social work. She lives with a wonderful family who provides the emotional, spiritual, and intellectual support Rose has always yearned for. She volunteers her time at church and at a local farm managing horses.
