Paris Meltzer

Paris was placed in the system at the age of 2 and remained there for
16 years. At the age of 7 she was placed in a permanent foster home
in Dallas, TX..
Paris graduated in May 2009 with a degree in Consumer Science and Merchandising
from the University of Houston, with a specialization in Training and
Development.
She plans to obtain her masters in a field related to social work
with the goal to change lives and help youth transition from care successfully.
Paris states, "Living independently and being successful at the same time has been a grand learning experience for me."
Her volunteer work and leadership on behalf of youth is impressive. She has chaired and been a member of multiple committees, and is a mentor and advocate for youth in care.
Paris likes volunteering and attending church. She also likes walking
her dog, swimming, volleyball, tennis, cooking and decorating.
Paris also loves to dance and listen to all kinds of music.
