Alicia Caton
Kingston, RI.
Alicia is a very dynamic young woman who has a driving passion to help and treat others. Having nursed her grandmother following triple by-pass surgery, Alicia knew at an early age that she wanted to work in the field of medicine.
At the age of sixteen, Alicia and her mother were evicted from their home. With no options available, she was forced to enter into the foster care system. Once she aged-out of the system Alicia left the security of her foster home to live on her own and to pursue a Bachelor of Nursing degree.
Today Alicia attends the College of Nursing at the University of Rhode Island. Once she receives her degree, she plans to gain field experience and then enter medical school. Her ultimate desire is to become a Cardiovascular Surgeon. When she is not in school or studying, Alicia works to make ends meet. She enjoys playing rugby for the University of Rhode Island in her spare time.
